I'm Dr. Maad Alowaifeer

• Assistant professor in the electrical engineering department at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

• Ph.D. in electrical engineering - energy, and M.Sc. in industrial engineering - operations research, from the Georgia Institute of Technology

• M.Sc. and B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

• Industrial experience at General Electric Company - Power and Energy.

• Research interests include operations planning and control of power systems, distributed optimization, microgrids, and smart homes energy management systems.
